“The drive to paint for me is like a studio calling, it occurs and I act on it, I can’t predict what I’m going to create, an impetuous loaded brush stroke sweeps across the surface to start, then its an all encompassing commitment both physically, mentally and emotionally, after painting in a highly energetic state, it’s a cathartic experience really, the images just reveal themselves at the time, I feel like the facilitator for a creative force within, revealing a unique visual language I was born with.
